The collection comes from a family farm in West Michigan, where the teas are grown using organic practices without pesticides. While the teas are not Certified Organic, they are grown on the family farm with an emphasis on the way the family personally raises and produces their teas.

One of the details that makes this calendar especially meaningful is the sachet itself. The sugarcane used for the triangular, tagless sachets is grown on the family farm, connecting the tea sachet back to the people and land behind the tea. Michigan Teas adds the individual paper tea envelopes.
